Yup! At first I thought it was some soldier's suburban... but on closer inspection it has German "H" plates which means the car(truck) is over 25 years old and considered a Historic vehicle. Having "H" plates also exempts you from German emission testing, although you still must go thru a safety inspection(TUV).

You should ship your car over here! I've seen lots of American cars being driven over here on US plates. You only need to post a bond at the port of entry and have the proper insurance coverage. I believe you can drive the car for up too six months... then you MUST show the car has been shipped back to the states.
Only problem is that gas costs $6 a gallon right now(and all time low due to a strong US dollar exchange rate!).
