Shift Linkage Rebuild
I just bought a used 2005 X3 2.5i with manual transmission. One of the issues in the shift linkage needs to be rebuilt (it's only shifting into R, 1, 3, 5). Has anyone done this before? I'm curious to know if you need to drop the transmission and transfer case in order to do it. If so, I may as well do the clutch and flywheel.
