If you ski or board a lot it is obvious what happened here. Just a freak low speed accident in transition from easy groomed slopes to ungroomed snow with hidden rocks. |
Indeed.
I've skied the same place in Meribel in poor snow conditions, and it's all too easy to catch a ski on a rock, spinning you into a tumble. Just bloody bad luck that his head landed on a bigger rock
