This is the first time I have ever had any kind of issue like this with any of my idrive BMW's...

Just driving along and then all of a sudden the screen goes blank and reboots.... and... it doesn't go back to the sirius station I was listening to necessarily.

Every 3-5 minutes! Dropped by the dealer yesterday and scheduled an appointment for next Tuesday. I am hoping its something simple.

My last BMW, a 2013 535 NEVER was in the shop once during my 2 years with it.

My X4 is a 2015, and I requested an update to the latest GPS software etc... that they did for me included in my deal. I wonder if something got messed up somehow during that procedure, and if it did why it would have taken almost 2 weeks to surface.

Anyone else experience this?
