You can do 255/40 R21 in the front and 285/35 R21 in the rear. That's about .4" wider and you'll be going 1% faster than your speedo says. The 8.5" and 9.5" 21" wheels are the narrowest recommended widths for 255s and 285s, respectively. If you want to go wider you should talk to your installer.
