I have a 328i but need more utility. I am considering an X3 but my gut is telling me to stay away. I can't explain it. I drove several and they seem very nice. Reviews I read are so-so.

Tell me why an X3 is an excellent, solid, reliable vehicle?? Is it?? Is it not?? 328i's have a great track record. I'm not sensing X3's do.

Help me feel right about getting one.
