Jason told me they tested and found that 66.45 mm fits better because there’s some manufacturing tolerance on every car. He said some customers who ordered 66.6 mm center bores before reported that the wheels felt a bit loose, so now they only make 66.45 mm.
Honestly, I’m a bit skeptical about that explanation — 0.15 mm seems like quite a large tolerance for BMW hubs. From what I saw in the earlier posts, the first batch of people who bought wheels from him were all using 66.6 mm, and no one mentioned any looseness issues. In fact, I’m more worried that 66.45 mm might end up being too tight to fit properly…
