I thought I read someone else had installed the solid full bushing replacement from the M to the M40i and it fit. Which is why I expect that outer diameter of the bushings are the same.

Ok so on the M forum I found Ryan's info about his diff bolt kit
https://x3.xbimmers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2102344 and he is now offering a bushing kit for all 3 ears...
The OEM parts numbers for the 3 bushings are different except the actual bolts which share the same number. The 2 front ear bolt is 07119906460 which is a M12x1.5x110 size and the rear OEM bolt is 33326775040 a M14x1.5x148 size.
Since the VTT insert didn't fit due to design/shape and not size I may try this route and hopefully the size of the bushing is the same. The bushings are full polyurethane btw.
