I am telling you that the bmw field engineer is saying it is because the rims are powder coated.
BMW NA was going to do a trade assist until the engineer claimed it was the powder coated rims causing the whole issue.

Well at the end of the day, hopefully your BMW won't get stolen or somehow sets itself on fire and the insurance co has to help you find and pay for another one. wink wink
