Another stupid suggestion, you are doing the backdoor shuffle properly? It takes a swift kicking motion under the center of the boot area to activate. Good luck!

I have not tried to retrofit yet. I’m not on a x3 but ix3 with 32x deletion. Your video is extremely helpful. Still finding the courage to open up the bumper to check is the parts are there or not. Hahaha.
