FYI: On the Audi Q5 "expanding" spare. Both the X3 and the Q5 have a 5x112 bolt pattern, correct?
We need someone to confirm that the audi spare could be safely fit (and run) on an X3. That would be a game-changer for this spare retrofit game.
caveats:
1) I am having a difficult time imagining the Audi spare wheel clearing the M Sport Calipers/Disc.
2) In the video linked earlier, it did take 11 minutes just to inflate the Audi spare -- possibly not much different than re-inflating the BMW spare that we have to air down.
