the problem that I see with mounting the 295 on the rear of an OE, 9.5" M40i rim is that the RIM IS TOO NARROW. Even if the tire clears fender and caliper, I think that a 295 squeezed onto a 9.5" rear rear is too wide.
That said,has anyone, using the stock 21" rims at 8.5 and 9.5, actually used those sizes: 255/40/21 front and 295/35/21? If they fit, please post a report and pictures. I have from day-one wanted to use this setup, but was told by Tire Rack that the rear rim is too narrow.
