I hear you and had a separate set of winters for my previous G31 540i as I was often driving to the airport in the early hours and occasional trips north to my daughters Uni. However now retired and no early morning winter trips, so full winters are no longer needed as day time temps are often above 7 degC and all seasons for the 2 or 3 days of light snow a year would be the way forward for me.
I have also been trying to sell my hardly used BMW winter wheels from the G31 and no one seems to need or want them here. I don't want a potential second set of winters that I may not be able eventually sell

Sorry - I should've clarified… 100% agree with you… I would've went with 20 inch setup so I could just run AS tires year round. The same argument happens on the Macan forum. Unless you're tracking your car, or doing regular canyon runs, summers are over kill for most of us. ASs do just fine for the climates it makes sense for.
