Here's a stupid question: Is it possible to turn down the volume of the parking sensor beeps?

I've tried adjusting the volume while the beeping is happening, but it makes no difference. Reason being, I live in a pretty quiet cul-de-sac. When I get home from the gym at night (as I've just done 30 mins ago) the sound from the parking sensors as I park the car is super, super loud. I'm sure people can hear it from across the way.

Yes...Its in the iDrive menu. Car/Settings/Drivers Assistance/Parking and Maneuvering. There is a volume control for PDC.
