I had SensaTec on my previous X3 and live in MN so lots of hot, cold and in between weather. You’ll be perfectly happy with SensaTec and the red is hot no pun intended. Great choice.
Now if your using the vehicle for a lot of road trips I could see the ventilated seats being nice but I’ve never had them so i can’t comment on that. Ive just read like you that they make an already firm seat firmer.
