Yup, there are many universal TPMS that might work too. Since Schrader's are available for $30 CAD each, I thought I'd rather go with something that's same as what BMW is using. Search here is also divided between OE HUF and Schrader, so it just seems to be luck of the draw which ones come with the car. Seems like both work, in addition to universal ones that many local and on-line tire shops are using.
