With my M3, I never found the need to permanently disable the flap, b/c of the sport/sport+ button which makes it easy to open/close.

Hi, I have the X3 m40 as well, and I tried to yank that same connection out from under the car but I cannot get unplug it... Am I just not pulling hard enough or is there a latch or something I need to push? Thank you!
