well its definitely different from 12 x3 28i, it has some x5 features.
trunk can be closed thru driver side button.
front pane lac/radio below idrive screen is similar to x5 (ac funtions)
idrive software is new
door lock n unlock is by the door handle.
fob key comes with blue trim
i really didnt have a chance to check every detail out,
