We've shown you stills, now have a live look at the BMW X4 SAV prototype undergoing testing on the Nurburgring and around town.

The "baby X6" will stick close to its concept design, as shown by this video, the reposted spy photos below, and the revealed patent design images.

As with the X3, the X4 will be produced in Spartanburg, SC.

Hello 5 series style LED turn signal up front! I like that!

I wanted this, but I can't get over the non-symettric tailpipes. WHY

...used x6 it is

I was traveling in Newfoundland on business this summer and could have sworn I saw one of these parked in Downtown St John's one night. It seemed too small for an x6 though I didn't have time to verify. Anyone have a sense for the testing locales? or does it vary based on requirements? I figure a remote corner of canada is a good place to put a car through it's paces in relative anonymity.
