Should I trade my 2006 X3 & 2007 328i coupe to get a new X3???

Just taking opinions on selling / trading my existing 2 BMW's to get a new X3. I have a 2006 X3 2.8i with 83,000 kms and a 2007 328i coupe with 72,000 kms. Both are in great shape and have given me no problems. We drive both of them very little and put less than 10,000 kms/year on the X3 and less the 5,000 kms/year on the 328i.

Does anyone think it is worth it to sell both just to get a new X3????

It's always nice to get new but it's just that I don't know if the F25 is special enough to trade to perfectly working almost similar cars for, if anything wait for the facelift i'm sure they'll get rid of the ugly orange reflectors on the headlamps.

I actually traded in my 2008 X3 3.0 manual and a 2004 330Ci manual which was heavily moded for a 13 X3 35i Sport. The X3 as fast as my 330Ci and much more refined than the 08 X3. The only thing I missed was rowing through a manual gearbox so I had to eventually get a manual car as well. My suggestion is go for it but get the facelift 35 with the M sport package.

I'd stick with the cars you have. You aren't putting a lot of miles on them anyway and the current cars aren't costing you anything.

Now if you don't need two vehicles and you can do the 2-1 trade with no additional money I might recommend the move.

... just my opinion.

I would DEF keep your current vehicles. As much as I love my 2012, I'd rather keep the 2 BMWs and wait a few more years before you upgrade/update.

Since you currently do not drive your cars much and do not seem to be in a hurry. My first suggestion would be to keep what you have and wait for the face lifted X3. If you want a new vehicle I would try to sell the two cars you have. You may as well make the money the dealership will make on the mark up.

Thanks everyone I think I will wait for the facelift and then upgrade. Also it will allow me to go for the X3 M sport. I figure if I give up my car it is worth it if I get the M sport. Although we will have to see what the new 4 series coupe looks like when it comes out
