Accidentally came across compatibility section in the quick reference guide, needless to say it wasn't in the owners manual. It listed this site http://www.homelink.com/ as a reference. The instructional videos are intuitive and I was able to get both of my cars programmed. What owners manual does not cover is the subsequent steps involving receiver "learn" button if transmitter step does not work. As long as your opener home link compatible, programming should not be an issue!!

If you ever have trouble again call homelink direct and they will walk you through the procedure step by step. Thats what I did and everything worked out fine.
