Aftermarked gearshift paddles - XBimmers

Anyone know if the gearshift paddles can be rettofitted or do I need to change the whole steeringwheel?

Have M sport steeringwheel with heating. And the auto gearbox of course.

Is it a complex operation? Thinking of getting the dealer to do it, but chances of getting ruined exists..

last time i checked with RealOEM, it requires a multifuntion cable for the Paddle Shifters.

i Do also have the 28i with M-sport Early 2012 Production Date, sadly it dosent come with the pre-wiring for the shifters
