First time leasing is this a decent deal?
This is my first time leasing and not sure if this is a good deal on a x3 35i
2013 BMW X3 35i in Carbon Black Metallic and Black Nevada Leather Premium Pkg M Sport Pkg Technology Pkg Head Up Display Premium Sound Dynamic Handling Pkg Brushed Aluminum Trim Vehicle Price: $57,745.00 Market Savings: - $2,470.00 Customer Rebate: - $1,000.00 SmartChoice Price: $54,275.00 Sales Tax (estimate): + $4,637.54 Tire/Battery/MVWEA: + $7.00 Tag/Registration Fees (estimate): + $429.00 Flat Add/County Fee: + $20.00 Electronic Filing: + $18.60 Smog Abatement Fee: + $20.00 Documentation Fee: + $80.00 Balance Due (estimate): $59,487.14 The money factor 0.00175 and Residual is 59% for 12K miles I think I can do better on the price. Is the money factor marked up? I was planning on putting down around 4k or 5k to keep payments lower than 700. |

I wouldn't put any money down on a lease. If you drive off the lot and total your car, that money is gone. If you want to lower your payment. Use MSD's ( multiple security deposit). That money will buy down your money factor and decrease your payment and it fully refunded at the end of the lease ( less any fees owed to BMW)
Also, I think they are marking up your money factor. You could probably get the cap cost a little bit lower. Good luck.
