Jack pad and wheel hanger
Just in time for the winter wheel change over...
Reverse logic has a special on for jack pad and lug bolt guide tool (shipping included). http://www.reverselogic.us/ReverseLo.../Specials.html Very fair price IMO.

Guys, just remember to order the M14x1.25 Aluminum Lug Bolt Guide Tool that is suitable for the x3.
My screen capture shows the M12x1.5

It has been 18 days since the order was shipped but I still have not received the parts.
Anyone else order and receive parts?

I don't know why it took 20 days from Pennsylvania to north of Toronto... it's a 6hr drive.
Anyway. I'm glad others are getting delivery in short order.

I bought a set back in January and finally got around to using them to switch back from winters to all seasons.
Only problem for me was that the cup on my floor jack is too small to fit the jack pad. Any ideas or suggestions? I can't seem to find an adapter for this purpose. |

Must be a small jack... Will that jack go high enough to get the x3 wheels of the ground?
Sorry, I don't have a solution for you issue.

http://www.amazon.com/Maasdam-PowR-L.../dp/B003EIKBW2 I ended up simply jacking it on the jack points without the pad, but I can tell that's far less than ideal... will have to find a better solution when the time comes to change back to winters. |

Use central jacking point with your floor jack , raise the vehicle. Then use jack stands with an adapter ( reverse logic or ecs tuning) to hold your car.

This latest exchange of posts reminds me of my experience when I first received my wheel hangers and jack pad. As I'm running non-RFT with a spare in the back, one of the first things I did was to test everything out. The jack I was using (a 4-tonne bottle jack) was one given to me by a friend (surplus to his needs). With the jack pad in place on the jacking point, the 4-tonne jack even lowered right down would not fit under the pad!!
Went out and bought a smaller 2-tonne bottle jack. Yes it fitted under, but would it have enough jacking height to raise the car? Only just!! So what I do is also carry around with me an assortment of small wood blocks with varying thickness to ensure I can get the right combination of being able to fit the jack under the jack pad, and have enough jacking height.
