2013 X3 (Canada) -Folding box included?

Hi,

I live in Toronto and just took delivery of a 2013 X3 28i. It's mentioned that there should be a folding box in the storage compartment but when asking my sales consultant she told me that it is not included and is part of a different package. Anyone in Canada can confirm this? Also anyone knows whats the main different between the US spec and the Canadian spec? It also says in the manual that the cargo floor cover that one side is coated with a dirt resistant etc... but my floor cover is both velour on both sides.... it's just confusing reading the manual sometimes not so sure what I should or should not have.

Thanks in advance

Garage List
2013 BMW X3  [2.83]
When I took delivery of my 2013 x3 28i. I brought the premium package which included the space saver package.

So yea, there was a collapsible box and net in the hidden trunk.

Hope this helps!

Ah btw, mine is US specd

Folding box and the cargo are not part of the basic X3 and they come in options. Options keep changing from year to year. Get a copy of sales brochure from the dealer and check the details.

My car had a dealer package of rubber floor mats and a rubber trunk liner. The trunk liner came with a collapsible box.

The collapsible box was in my 2011 35i as part of a special "storage" package, IIRC. Not standard.

If you buy the "bmw" cargo liner... It comes with the box. And a word on the manual.... It describes every possible configuration/option... It doesnt care if you have it or not... It will describe everything. Annoys me because i ll read about a feature in the manual and run out to see of ive got it... Only to be disappointed!
