Comfort access and tinted windows
I thought I read somewhere that if you tint your front windows it will interfere with the comfort access system. Is there any validity to this claim?

By front do you mean the windshield or driver/passenger front side windows? I tinted the side windows 35% with no issues

There have been discussions on the various e9x boards on whether or not metallic tint interferes with CA/Navi/Radio reception. Ceramic tint is the way to go in terms of minimizing interference and maximizing heat reduction.
I went with Pinnacle F1 in my 335i and I've been very happy with the results. |

I tinted mine but I used the ceramic materials. They said that the metallic one will interfere with any comm equipments. I don't know if it is true but I wanted to be on the safe side.
