Rear Folding Seats (UK)

Ok, can anyone tell me if a UK F25 comes with rear seats that fold (at all)? Or do you need the 40/20/40 option at £170 + VAT.

If I don't spec any options for the rear seats will I be able to fold them at all? (not bothered about what config as long as they fold if I need them to).

Thanks

As far as I am aware, if no options are specified, the standard rear seats come with a 60:40 split fold down option.
The £170 + VAT option provides the option to fold them 40:20:40

I have gone for the default option and am expecting it to be the 60:40 split. Though if anyone else who has taken delivery of their X3 can confirm, I might stand corrected.

Thanks. Thought it would be strange that a £40k+ SUV didn't come with folding seats as standard.

If any other UK owners could confirm, that would be great

Ah yes, so it does. Completely missed that when I checked those pages last night! Thanks all

I can confirm the above. UK spec comes with 60:40 as standard and the option upgrades it to 40:20:40.

The option is badly written, I wondered the same before the car arrived!

Oh no. I ordered the extra as I incorrectly thought not doing so would give me just a bench that was either up or down.

Thats an option I'll never use.

I have it in my current Audi - the only way to get rear side airbags (which I did want) was to order them with the 40:20:40 seat back. I have used the centre load-through option a few times: curtain poles, garden canes, that sort of thing. The Expensive zip-on ski bag is totally unused though... So nice to have on the X3 but not worth £170+20%VAT! IMHO
