What type of sat nav system do I have? - XBimmers

Have a 2005 x3... Runs the DVD sat nav... But updating the disks, you need to know what type of computer you have? How do you tell?

There are some aftermarket disks for about $100 that run v17.0 and can upgrade the OS to v32.0.... But only on mk4 systems?

The 2012 disks are on backorder.

Anybody know the answer?

Yes, and I know that this is for the newer models...but the disks going into the systems are similar....so I thought someone may have an idea?

No idea, try a google search, or go to source.. Call bmw or send them an email with ur situation..

Maybe try posting this in the E83 thread. This thread is for the second generation x3.
