How do I tell which sat nav system I have? - XBimmers

Have a 2005 x3... Runs the DVD sat nav... But updating the disks, you need to know what type of computer you have? How do you tell?

There are some aftermarket disks for about $100 that run v17.0 and can upgrade the OS to v32.0.... But only on mk4 systems?

Anybody know the answer?

If your Nav has the DVD drive in the trunk, then it is the MKIV system.
