Cd player and Bluetooth

Sorry... Newbie here...I was thinking of placing a cd stacker in the 2005 x3... The current player does play mp3's...do the cd stackers also? I was quoted $250 Aus for a 6 stack from a wrecker... Allegedly about $1200 new?
In addition, what stacker do I put in? Do I stick with original or go aftermarket? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Also, will the stacker prevent the original cd player from playing a cd?
Will it affect the satnav system from functioning correctly?

Or... As I do not have Bluetooth, am I better getting an aftermarket Bluetooth (parrot) for example, that will play all of the iPhone music stored? This may be the cheapest route to get everything accomplished... The Bluetooth as well as music diversity functioning

The MKi9200 from Parrot are good, so are the Dice Mediabridge with Bluetooth units. PM me if you want to get hold of a Dice unit.

I was looking at the parrot mki9200... There is also make a Unika Steering Wheel Control for Parrot MKi Range.... Do you know if they work on the Australian models that have the sat nav system installed?

PM me about supply of Dice in Australia. Install is easy.
MKi 9200 & UNIKA have an issue that I've recently sorted with my X3(2009sd), when you add the Unika unit they don't switch off but it's an easy fix.
Yes both systems work with all versions, Nav & Business ICE systems, steering wheel controls or not.

Mate.. If the Dice displays on either the CD player or the Sat Nav.... That sounds like the better option...Better than having to have the Parrot's extra screen... Sorry... Saw your link... How do I PM you? You can email me at bcatt@qldbar.asn.au if that helps... Would be looking for someone to install it all in Brisbane, QLD.

You wouldn't happen to know how to get the latest version of the sat nav DVD and SW updates? I am on V10.0.
Thanks again mate.
