Halogen to Xenon converison

I have a 2007 X3 M Sport Package and love it. I would like to convert the halogens to Xenon to complete the "package." My thoughts are that I would by OEM Xenon headlamps, ballasts and everything I need. Is the E83 Angel Eye compatible?

Does anyone have experience with such a conversion? Idea of cost and complexity to install?

Not so much experience but depending on local regulations you may need to factor in the headlight washers in the bumper bar as well. Mandatory where I am.

First try upgrading to these bulbs. They are so much brighter than stock and might satisfy your craving for brighter lights.

With reference to the Osram 65w bulbs - do they get so hot that they burn out the headlight wiring harness near the headlamp connection? I had increased wattage bulbs in a Land Rover Freelander (Freeloader) and they burned out - actually melted - the headlamp connectors. They sell increased capacity connectors and was wondering if they are needed with the Osram's.

Thanks and have a good night.

Been running them for 2 months with no problems. I've heard the same thing about higher wattage bulbs. I know you can get 100W H7s that would cause this problem. So far no issues with the 65W
