First point and Shoot pics

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Nikon S8200 before going to New York on vacation. I am not to much into photography so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a camera.

Any how, I took some pics and wanted to see what you all would say. Not bad for a point and shoot IMO.

Not bad at all. Nice work.

Do they really still have Christmas ornaments out? Or was this vacation a while ago?

Thanks M Six. Yes I went on vacation in December, I doubt they still have any ornaments out. I just haven't had a chance to upload them.

Very nice! You say you are not much into photography, but you turn out great shots like this, maybe you should think about getting into it. These are really good!

Very good pics. Numbers 2, 4 and 9 could use just a little crop at the bottom. On night shots, try to use a tripod or brace the camera on a railing or something.

This is just personal opinion, but I think selective color is best used when you have a small subject, not when it is distributed throughout the shot. The shots do look great though.

Good job for just starting out, I look forward to what you produce in the future.

Keep posting shots, and don't be afraid to ask for help in the forum, lost of great photographers around here.

Thank You, I will keep practicing. I am modding my car now so I will start taking some car pics as well.

Lots of great photographers on here indeed. The photos I see on here are just insane.
