looks like prev gen 28i Canadian spec has 230 lb-ft of torque...but US spec has only 221 lb-ft...

BMW Canada must have had the intern prepare the product planning bulletin... misleading info again. See attached from the Canadian BMW website.

Hey guys, I got some information from the dealership today including an order number.

Is there anyway to track the anticipate production from this?

Congrats on your order!

I placed an order for 28i on Tuesday.

As far as tracking you have there is your production number > I was told by dealer in US if I create an account in BMWusa.com and enter under Add Vehicle your production number I should be able to track it online. I am not sure how it works for Canada.

I tried that but it won't show up and as dealer explained since 2013 hasn't started yet it won't show up for some time.
Every time I enter my production number it says: Only new vehicles can be added by production number. If your vehicle is currently in production, it is possible it has not yet entered our system.

Nop, all reports are that 2013 starts in April.

Production starts in April. They are still producing 2012 models. You can't order a 12 but they are still building them I was told. We ordered one this week and they are telling me it will be June until delivery. We are going to do a Performance Center delivery which is supposed to be a lot of fun.

I didn't received any confirmation from my dealer. All I got it's the delivery date...Am I supposed to receive something similar???

Your dealership probably will call you earlier. I expected to pick up my car on Friday, but my sales called me 2 days early to tell me to pick up my car.

The website is not accurate.

I contacted bmw Canada and bmw said they were going to update the website... Obviously they got sidetracked drinking coffee and making fun of their customers.

Dynamic Comfort package is indeed available with the m-sport.
