Look for a white sticker on the BT ULF module itself. (In the trunk, driver's side, underneath the black plastic floor/cargo panel.If u don"t want to use any tool u can just use a mirror to read the 4 digits.Best wishes

Bluetooth Code
Dealers can look up the code for you but the car needs to be physically there.
I had a similar problem as my used X3 did not come with the little card showing the code. |

It is on the unit
It is on the control box (TCU) which is located inside the left panel in the cargo area.
