Looking for a good bodyshop for scratch repair in Dallas - Waco - Austin Area
I was washing my car yesterday (taking advantage of the strange 70F+ weather) and the hose had springiness in it from being coiled up. Long story short I lost control of the hose and it scratched the left rear door about 1" all the way through the paint.
I'm looking for a bodyshop in the Dallas / Waco / Austin area. Anyone know of a more generic forum for these sorts of recommendations? |

Doesn't look like there is a Dent Doctor very close to me. I'll guess I'll be hunting for local places. I was hoping maybe someone on the forum would be from around here and have a recommendation!

I have used Concours in Dallas on my past BMWs and they have been fine.
The Moritz body shop, down the block from Cowboy stadium in Arlington, has done perfect work on my current X3. May be overkill for a scratch, but they both have performed excellent bodywork and paint matching on my cars. Last edited by Alanintx; 01-03-2012 at 11:36 PM. |

I see the scratch every time I get in my car... I don't think anything is overkill! Thanks! |

Austex
I had Austex body shop work on my e46 when I lived in Austin. They did a FANTASTIC job. The paint and craftsmanship has held up great. It's north of downtown, can't quite remember the exit to take off of I35.
