I have one and you are going enjoy it, mine was built week 40 one of the first here in the UK.

Found out today that my car has been through the paintshop and should be finished by the end of next week. Could be with me in the 2nd week of January!! Oh happy 2012!!

Where did you get the idea that they were "screwed together"? BMW actually uses string and sealing wax to assemble the X3.

Heard from my dealer today that "The Beast" has now been screwed together and has left the factory!! Now it just needs to make it safely to the UK!!

Congratulations. I placed an order this past weekend and was told delivery in early March. Sounds like you have a great vehicle I wish we had diesels in Canada.

Been to the dealer to see my car today before it gets all spruced up and number plates screwed on and such like. Taking it home in 4 days time!!!

Looks good. I am not a big fan of the MSport "look", but in black it looks great.

The fact that your car was built after mine but has now arrived prompted me to mail my dealer. I know that yours is a 35d and mine is only a 30d but the performance gap is not that big especially across the Atlantic.

Good news! The dealer says mine will arrive to them very shortly. Now just the wait for them to sort it out and to agree with the lease company (mine is a company car) when they will be happy to do the swap.
