Low battery message - XBimmers

I drive my X3 10 miles every day and have 1700 miles so far. I was setting my DVD and noticed a low battery message. Can battery go low in one hour of DVD movie playing with ignition on and engine not running?

Do you use the auto stop start? Sitting at traffic lights at night with the car's lights on draining the battery then having to restart would drain a lot from a battery, especially for a short run like ten miles. It would be worth running without auto stop start to see if your battery catches up again and stays there.
