To me, the X6 is not only pointless, but not so pretty....just my opinion.

X6 = Pointless but very cool
and better looking than the X5 and X3 IMO. I think the new Cayenne looks better than them both now I've seen a few in the flesh. They look much better in real life than in photos (as does the X3). But none of these cars are that good looking really. The Ferrari 458 and the Aston Martin DB9 are good looking cars ![]()

Bitches may love bimmers, but bitches won't love little bitches who buy bimmers to get bitches to love them back, bitch.
![]() But in all seriousness, you might find yourself better suited in an F30 3-series when it makes its debut. If not, get yourself a cheap CPO weekend car and then buy a Range Rover Sport HSE LUX. While still a penis-mobile, there isn't a better looking SUV fleet out there from an OCD standpoint, at least.

I know everyone gets defensive but I can see what the guy is saying - the X3 is smaller and does perhaps have more feminine lines than the X5, and the fact is you just see more women driving them. Just bought one for my wife in fact. Still wouldn't call it a chick car though, especially not with certain options. Hers is a black on black 35i and that's a pretty manly combo. As was pointed out, the X3 is a hell of a lot more fun to drive than the X5. I took it to work today and am really enjoying it, just got a compliment from a guy driving a Q5.

I just joined this forum 2 months ago and just read through this thread. Very funny stuff here and understand why some posters have made an impression on some others.
To me a chick vehicle would be a VW bug or a minivan. An SUV whether large or small isn't female to me, unless it's a female color like the blue water metallic that the X3 comes in. Many SUV's are driven by women, because they're the ones that usually hustle the kids around and is larger, safer and bought by their significant others for them. There's nothing feminine about the X3 in my opinion unless you drive one in the bwm color I mentioned. I guess if you were really insecure then I could see that person feeling the need to drive a monster truck, big pick up or Hummer. Nothing wrong with those vehicles, but driving one and making fun of those who drive luxury cars is pure jealousy. |
