ya, that is shinier than whats in my 2011. the orange lights in the door handles is def on mine. another difference between Dukat's 2012 and my 2011 - the front edge of the sport package seats adjust in and out - mine has 3 settings, of which i found no comfort until i put it on the middle setting which then feels just right....

Dukat described in a private message having 12 or so smaller notch settings - do i have this right? doesn't really matter, as long as the middle setting works on mine. didn't think there would be any change to the sport seats, i mean they are about the same as sports seats on the 3 series.

Does anyone know how to raise the volume for the voice that talks for navigation instructions? I can barely hear it while driving.

Greg is right about the thigh support in the sports seats. I moved mine out a little and it is much more comfortable. I was surprised what a difference it made.

I applied the 3rd layer of sealant today (24 hour cute time between application). I'm contemplating a 4th coat tomorrow or going straight to Collinite Fleet Fax. Once the wax is down I can't apply any more sealant.

The reflection in the paint has quite a bit of orange peel. I wouldn't go polishing just to remove it, but would be nice if it wasn't there.

I found 1 moderate defect in the paint under the clear coat on the hood. It bothers me a little, but not enough to take it back and chance them messing something else up. There were several spec size defects in other places, but minor.

Hoping the sealant on the wheels keeps break dust from baking in & makes it easier to remove.

I'm enjoying the car more each time I drive it!

Jonas, I'll try another wind noise test as soon as I get someplace that permits me to speed up. I'll update in the next few days on it.

Adjust the volume while the voice is speaking.

Might be part of the premium package because one of the items is called 'Ambiance Lighting'.

I think it was the premium package. I have them so I never thought twice about it.....glad now that I do! Did you get the premium package?

This goes for all the independent audio that comes through the speakers, i.e. Nav, Telephone, etc. You have to raise or lower the volume while that audio activity is active - and then it will remember that setting.

What exterior features, if any, other than the VIN, distinguish our "olde" 2011 35i from the new 2012 35i?

I replaced my SanDisk reader with a Lexar Pro UDMA Dual Slot USB 2.0 RW035. I don't know what the Lexar nomenclature means but it works, intuitively and effortlessly.

I'm not aware of any exterior changes to 2012 other than the 35i with Sports Package now gets 19" 309 tires with all season tires, same front/back.

2011 35i with SAP had staggered size summer tires instead of all seasons, and I don't think 309's were standard.
