Does anyone have a good suggestion on where to get a good (and cheap) insurance in GTA for the 2011 X3 28i?
Appreciate it!

I will probably couple it with my home insurance, so that might help?!
Who gives the best rates?

I switched from Geico (10 years with them) to SafeCo and saved 31%. I'm replacing a 2003 Jetta with a 2011 x35 and its going up $125/yr. Have a 2008 M3, 2009 Scion xB, and the Jetta currently with them.

I switched from Allstate to BMW Performance Insurance and they were only few dollars more per month. Don't know if it's available in Canada.

Insurance depends on so many factors (person profile, area where living, km done a year, familly situation, claim history, etc) that you have to call many of them or use a broker because the best price of person A does not means the best for B.

Also don't focus only on yearly cost, also on service. My company is not the best rate I can get but I experienced the service many time and it worth the extra money anytime!

Good luck!

My insurance is $814 per year for the X3, replacement was 1207 for 4 years. I'm a 32 year old male driver. Deductible of $250 with replacement providing $250 back, so in essense it's 0.

It's a 3 year rate, and I'm locked in, ie. it can't go up and it can't go down.

I'm with MM also. About same price, but with 2 million for responsability.

default in Quebec is 1 million, but when you go in the USA/other provinces, better cover you a$$ a little more.

there is a "no fault" clause in Quebec prov, so we dont need that much.

I have been using the BMW insurance through Liberty Mutual for a few years. My rates actually went down when I switched from my 08 335xi to the '11 X3...

Wow, that's $500 more than what I was paying for my cayenne. Things considered are, number of demerit points you have, if the car will be parked in a garage, how far your work is, if you've had claims in the past, if you're married/single etc..

So there are things you can say to drop it down a bit. I used a broker, I will find out for you next week who they gave me. Try this site to:

trust me!!! I've got all the Aces!!!
The only thing might be is that I have had a European DL changing to Canadian. Though our DLs are recognized in NA, they may still be cautious on the prices. Never had demerit points etc.

Get an auto insurance quote from the Hartford through AARP; they have a really good reputation and their rates are pretty decent.

I just closed the deal:
Home + Auto will cost me roughly $2,000 per year!!! ($1400 x3 and $600 home--- X3's insurance is more expensive than a house!!!!)
Not bad, but I hoped for better...
