Home delivery? - XBimmers

My dealer called me today and said my X3 28i (Black Sapphire Mettalic) has arrived and will be ready for delivery tomorrow.

They offered me the option of delivering my car at my office or home

Is this unsual for a dealer to deliver at home/office? did any one take delivery at home? I want to make sure that the dealer does not have any hidden agenda behind this

I am excited and can't wait for tomorrow!!

I've not done it, but have seen it offered by BMW dealerships. Enjoy your new car!

Not unusual, some people find it convenient. Enjoy the new car, I also take delivery of mine tomorrow.

My dad never gets his vehicle delivered at the stealer. No sales pitch from the F&I guy, nice. Car is always delivered in our drive, and the trade taken away. Funny when a trade had a motor mount fail and drop the engine to the pavement. Sales manager was in a fit when he called my dad about the damage. "Sorry to hear your car had such a defect"

was our comment.
