Picked up yesterday
Took delivery of my new X3 yesterday, and at the same time sold my 2006 330i. At the risk of being flamed, I think I'll miss my old car more than I'll enjoy the new one. The old one had so many more options that I didn't get this time around, but the new one is much more practical for my climate and family situation (2 young kids). I'm sure I'll grow to love it.

Get mine tomorrow. Trading in my 07 335i, life change and need the extra utility of the small SUV. Really almost like dressing the 335 in a SUV coat. About the same performance and better gas milage.

Congrats!! No flames here, I am going to have a tear in my eye when I trade my E90 on the X3. It's been a great car.

Understand completely, will do a little send off tonight for mine, involving a good scotch. She is still in her prime and I know will have a good home. I never really was never able to drive her the way she was meant to be driven.

Understand completely, when I send off my Ford Freestyle it will involve a good prune juice. It's been, well reliable.
BTW, congrats on your new X3, I really like the black on black with your wheels! Believe me the sacrifices will continue forever. Better an X3 than a Kia! |

Thanks all, after a few days of driving it it's growing on me. I obviously can't expect the same driving experience as the E90 330i, but the X3 will serve my needs when the snow comes and the family road trips come. I didn't think I'd miss the manual transmission as much as I do though. There's something about the small delay in the transmission's gear selection that obviously isn't the same. I know there's "manual" mode, but I think that's kinda lame.
