Displaying chinese characters?

Anyone know if there is a way that the unit can display Chinese characters? Will they have software updates available for this? Most of my mp3s are in Chinese.

Check in your idrive under language settings if its there.

Wht sort of equipment do u have? Prof nav or i-drive+no nav?
AFAIK only cars on sale in PRC/ROC/HK/MAC markets have country specific units displaying trad chi+simp chi characters.

I believe idrive only displays English, Spanish, French, Italian. This is with pro nav.

Try looking at the screen "Side ways"
It should look chinese enough then.
