Dealer just sent me the list of the "select items" that are eligible to be purchased with the drive event gift certificate. I don't know if it has been posted. SEE BELOW pdf

I thought the same thing. Never had such a hard time buying a car. Something new around every corner.

Here’s how I read it,
They don’t say any accessories, but SELECT accessories.

Quote:
$500 X3 Accessory Incentive Certificate is non-transferable, and can be redeemed only by the participant who attended The BMW X3 Difference Event. Accessory Incentive Certificate is valid with the purchase or lease of a 2011 model year X3, from the day of event attendance through June 30, 2011. The $500 Accessory Incentive Certificate is valid for a one-time use only. It must be presented and redeemed at the BMW SAV center where the new X3 vehicle was purchased, and can be applied to up to $500 of select Original BMW Accessories, excluding labor and taxes. Offer is valid for new vehicle purchase only. Offer is not valid for the purchase of BMW NA Company Vehicles, retired loaner vehicles, EPP vehicles, Center Employee Leases or European Delivery vehicles. Only one offer per household or per vehicle may be redeemed. Certificate is not redeemable for cash. Please see your authorized BMW SAV center for complete list of eligible BMW X3 accessories.
Sorry, I posted this before Radioactive posted the PDF of the list.
Thanks Radioactive!

Thanks,
I cross posted my reply and saw the list after I had made my post.

It seems to cover most of the available accessories.

I had my eye on the cargo mats and removal seat covers. No go!

What PO's me is that even though I took delivery 2/7 and attended the event I was not eligible because the event came after! Nowhere did it say that. I had already preordered a number of things and was going to order more when available.

Thank you for the list. Now I have to decide. Certainly getting Media Snap in adapter for $225. Do you guys know what is involved in installation of the snap-in? Does it just snap in to the armrest, or is professional installation necessary? Did you guys buy wheel locks?

We just went through this as well. Put together a nice list of accessories we wanted and when we sent to the dealer we got a reply saying only about half are included and that we had to choose from the provided list. Kind of frustrating but it is what it is I suppose.

The iPhone snap in adapter is plug an play. it integrates under the center arm rest.

PO'd with ya. My dealer never told me about the event... so I missed out. I told him I'm buying all my accessories elsewhere.
