I think the display is 8.8" regardless of nav or not. The BMW site is pretty confusing when it says "our optional Navigational system comes standard with an 8.8-inch control display." Since all the cars have a control display I think the nav option just adds more functionality and not an upgrade to hardware.

Navigation - I rarely use and when I need directions, I'll just plop up my GPS.
![]() Leather - I just REALLY like the Nevada leather and the stitching, it's just aesthetically pleasing to me. Please don't make me change my mind again. I am ordering tomm! ![]() |

Hey, you asked.
You should really try to see if your CA can let you order different trim without adding the premium package. It will make a world of difference. If you haven't seen the silver matte (read: painted plastic) in person, you wouldn't understand. It's just not good at all. |

Check again. You can add the Brushed Aluminum trim without the Premium Package.
Your build as is comes out to $43,175 according to the "Build Your Own" website. For $44,625 you can get the F25 35i with the same options except for the power tailgate, rear camera and park assist. It comes down to how important those options really are to you. If you went with leatherette, it would be the same price as the 28i. Not trying to make it harder then it already is...but in the end, you will not be disappointed with either build. If you can make the 35i happen… GO for it!!!

Lol. Plus, I rather go for the leather, which is another add on to the 35i.
I am already over my original budget, plus I have another car loan I will be inheriting very shortly, so I don't want to go overboard. This site is very dangerous. |

Hey good luck with your order, I have been watching your threads for a while and you did a lot of research and finalized your options. So I would say if that is what your heart desires go for it. But since you asked our opinion, if I were you I would have gone for 35i like kozzi mentioned. Again its individual preference. Whatever you think is good for you go for it. More time you spend here today more confused you are going to be on your order tomorrow.
Also I do not see any reason why you should wait until april to place the order with the options you have in hand. Sooner you place the order its going to increase your chance to get into the available slot with your dealer, so order as soon as you can, remember you can change your order atleast until 2 weeks before your production start date. So go for it. Post your ordering experience tomorrow after your dealer visit and the production week slot you got and stuff like that. Waiting counter starts ![]() |

So are you allowed to get the brushed aluminum trim or the wood trim on the 28i without adding the premium package?? The BMW site allows you to do both now, has anyone checked with the dealers on this?
