No,it is an option ($250). Need to stay on top during these mid year transitions, as these options can be missed by less than knowledgeable sales people. If you don't order it, you will not get it automatically.

Thanks for the quick response, and I wrote it in the other thread, but will this allow me to control the car (some features) from my iphone?

BTW - have you got delivery of your X3? If so, any pics you can share with us?

It should be actually 11th week and not 11th day of march. My dealer showed me a similar page when I placed my order and I also mistook it for 12th day of march later when I visited him, he checked the screen to see if it moved up and at that time I noticed it was 12th week.

Mine will be "born" in week 12 as well, maybe our kids get the same childhood Illnesses, anyway you get a new Norwegian cousin.

So all in all does the 6NR work for Iphones only or all smartphones? Dealer just contacted me yesterday and told me that I've been bumped up to a March production date instead of April. I have a android so I'm not sure if I should wait or add the extra option.

Currently it is only certain Apple iPhone models. Unknown when or if they will introduce other smartphone versions. Would obviously be moot anyway if you are in a March production.

An update on my order...

We removed the power liftgate from the order and our car went into production the next day. There were about 3 weeks where it stayed at "In Production". Today it is now "At Preparation Center", having skipped the transit step. I'm on the west coast, so I hope it's at the Prep Center here...
