The dealership sells a lot of cars and I am getting one of their allotments that wasn't sold yet - that is the only reason it will be built so quickly.

I ordered mine on 1st Jan and I'm not expecting it until August.

Have you seen many X3's on the road yet?

I spotted one on the motorway in the UK but assume it was a test vehicle (same colour combo as local dealer?)

My dealer is part of largest in UK, they were hoping for a 100 car order from a major electronics company that has offices based locally

Taking X3 out for another test drive next saturday to tide me over with my fix until delivery!

The only x3s I have seen have been around the dealership, and I'm assuming those were demos. The salesperson did say that they are selling a bunch of them though, but I haven't seen them on the road.

Congrats on your order! Sounds like a great color combo to me. Ours differ only by color and Sat Radio. I think you're gonna be a happy camper!

Has anyone in the UK taken delivery yet? I've seen 3 so far that definately weren't on a test drive!

All around Leicestershire, one I see every week at the gym, gets me pumped up and I manage to run further though!

Haha, I can't believe I still haven't seen one, not even in London. I am looking and I now notice every single X5. In a couple of year's time they'll be everywhere.

Well it started production at the end of last week - dealership says it should be here within 2 weeks

The delay wasn't too bad since now I don't have to worry about the snow tires (I hope….never know this winter), and I got the 6NR option. If the Volk Wheels fit, we may be selling the 19s…stay tuned

"Your vehicle is being transported to the port of exit"…I'm assuming that means it is on its way to the dealer? The website shows it being at the preparation center.

I talked to 800 number when mine was showing preparation center status and they could not give much information, but they assured me, it should be on its way to the dealer and told me to check with the dealer.

I talked to my CA in motorwerks and he mentioned something about 4 checks that needs to be performed before it reaches him and gave me dates on which they are having scheduled delivery in that week, as he mentioned it came to the dealership in one of the days he gave me. So check with your CA.
