Just added media pro package and took some other spec. off my order. Dealer told me they need to contact BMW UK before committing the changes to check production impact. I have to wait a few days to find out what, if any, the implications are.

Love it! Exterior looks fantastic and the interior combination works well. Really like the Oyster and Sienna although I paired the Wave with mine. Still time to change...... mmmmmm.

According to the dealer my X3 is slowly making its way across the Atlantic for delivery to me on the 16th May. Although I said I wouldn't I've been on to the Wallenius website to try and track it but can't locate it via the VIN.

Think that Sfax's original post said that not everyone's car appeared on Track and Track. Think likely that many on here have tried to track, so just wondering how many actually managed to find their cars? I'm hoping its a few and the car isn't just sitting in a car park in the US somewhere.

It seems a bit hit and miss but so far I know of three (including you) that have tried and not been able to track it and two (me and BimmerUK76) that have. It's a shame because it fills in the time nicely watching go in and out of ports. I wouldn't worry about it if you can't find it. If the dealer is telling you 16 May that will be accurate at this stage

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose costs increased because of xBimmers. I think I saw a mineral silver X1 earlier - it looked fantastic in the sun (can you get an X1 in MS?) but I still haven't seen one X3 on the road, unbelievably!.

Great spec BTW. The two things on yours that I might have considered in hind sight are rear assist and extended storage. And I would have added 6NR but I couldn't when I ordered.

Did think about 6NR but couldn't really see myself using it.

The Xenons are partly down to you though, or at least you made me think about them a bit more. Bimmer's report back on his pharmacy run also helped.
Then, when I was out in a demo manual last week, I saw those coronas reflected in the back of the car in front and it brought it all back to mind.
It was early evening and as luck would have it the auto headlights kicked in at one point and I began to see the potential of the Xenons.
Checked out the DRLs when I got back to the dealers; they looked great and I was sold!
