Dealer wants 5 days to prep (I have also asked them to fit titanium kidney grilles - therefore 5 days and 15 mins)

Your dealer wants 5 days to prep. Mine was trying to hand mine over at 8am on Saturday having received it on Thursday evening!

Just had my final contract bill and I have been given a delivery date of 29/6/2011.
I assume this is about as locked down as the bikes in my Garage were last summer!

The final bill has led me to flog anything that isn't nailed down in the house on ebay. The wife has been searching for her hair dryer for the last 2 days!

any news on your X3 delivery? Mine was supposedly built week 9 and in theory so should delivery a week or so after your car.

Customs released and I guess waiting to be transported to dealer, I would imagine this would be done within a couple of days then the dealer wants 5 days prep

I anticipate collection week commencing 4th April (long time) but Im away after tomorrow until 28th so time will fly

I think my saleman might have holiday booked and he was hoping for handover on 8th April (just a hunch)?

Ask your dealer for the VIN number and we can track it on WW track and trace

You might see more X3's in Vegas than the UK as it appears the US where most of the production end up. I have now seen 1 uk, privately owned new X3 at M40/M25 interchange. I am off to LA at easter hope see some then

Only seen 3 altogether in the last 3 months (excluding the demo I had for a weekend):

White - coincidentally on the White Rose roundabout in Leeds
Mineral Silver - M1 southbound around the M6 exit
Silver/grey (it was dark) - M4 junction 5, very kindly let me on to the motorway in a horrible jam

Does this sound a little obsessive? Have stopped playing "spot the X3 on the opposite carriageway" because it's a bit too dangerous.

Still not seen one other than dealer test drive, a colleague at work says he has seen a white one in the same small town where I live several times but it evades me

You won't be able to track it on WW until it has departed Charleston and that could be some time after you get your VIN.

Look at the timetable on the first page on this thread to see when you can expect to be able to track it

Ordered end Nov 2010, and I did all the chasing for the VIN - it's through a lease company so who knows what time lag is built in there......!

306 streamline and 307 V spoke look better, with 307 looking the best of the two IMO

304 non-run-flats will save you money initially and going forward because they have better mpg and are cheaper to replace, probably less likely to get a puncture. The smaller rims will also improve the ride comfort. Comfort over style.
