Mine due into Southampton on the 21st March (week 8 build), dealer said it will be ready week ending 8th April - seems along time between 23rd and 8th

The dealer now knows that I have tracked the car with ww and I think it will be ready for collection earlier that week - but it will come soon enough as Im going Vegas next wednesday until sunday then the following weekend going to the coast with wife and son for a long weekend

You told your dealer about WW? I enjoyed keeping it a secret that I knew more than he did and then I was amazed when he told me it was in the country now when I had it on my screen in front of me in port in Sweden!!

Incidentally, I could have picked mine up from the dealer on the Saturday following the Monday it arrived in Southampton.

He hasnt replied to my reveal email!

Perhaps a call to discuss timescale might help

All these dealers have got our deposits, thinking about their bonus. But little do they know the amount of head nippin they are in for !!. Ignoring emails and phone calls we won't stop until the delivery days are here.

I sent an email to my dealer recently and after no reply nearly a week later, I followed it up with a call. Did you get my email? No, sorry, I had my outbox rebuilt and lost all my emails. Ignoring the technicality that an outbox is only used as a temporary store for outgoing emails when you have no connection, I have worked in IT for 12 years and have never known anyone user lose all of their emails in a commercial environment. BMW dealerships clearly operate under different rules.

Orderered my X3 0n 24.01.11. expecting June delivery, now told it will be August!!!!
spec I've gone for is : Bluetooth Telephone preparation,Auto box, Xenon headlights with LED running lights, Metallic - Black sapphire, Heated front seats, Nevada leather - Black, Service Package, seal & protect.
managed a healthy £1613.66 discount!!! whoohooo!!!
Local dealer wasn't interested so had to go further afield - just wish it would come sooner.

Welcome to the forum YORKIE. Most people got given a wildly optimistic delivery date when they ordered. It's well worth the wait though.

It's annoying that BMW have made this feature only available to US buyers when I'm pretty sure they film all of the cars and could easily extend the web portal for viewing the videos. Just find one on this forum that's SB and pretend it's yours

US buyers also enjoy online tracking and a freephone number to check the status of their X3 orders. We get a dealer who is difficult to get hold of and uses a 20 year old DOS application to get outdated information

They're probably all linked to the same back end database and the issue is that the data isn't keyed accurately or in a timely fashion. Disappointing in an age where you can track parcels and see that they were dispatched or on a truck only minutes after each event. I'm sure if they could improve the tracking, everyone would benefit. Sort it out BMW!

WW says my X3 is in Southampton and is discharged

I could have picked mine up only 5 days after this WW discharge status. I actually picked it up 8 days after it was at discharged status. SO CANCEL VEGAS!!
